968704. John BLOUNT Sir Knight¹⁹⁰ was born in 1306/7 in Sodington, Worcestershire, England. He died in 1358 in England. Heir to his brother, second son of Walter and Joan, was in 1324 a practised soldier belonging to Worcestershire. In 1337, being then a knight, he was found heir to elder brother, Lord Wiliam Blount, according to which he was then aged 30). He was joint commissioner in Worcestershire in 1344, to inquire as to holders of land. He served in Gascony under Henry, Earl of Lancaster and, afterwards, in 1347 under the King at the siege of Calais, till Edward's return to England.
John BLOUNT Sir Knight and Isolda MOUNTJOY were married in England.

968705. Isolda MOUNTJOY was born about 1307. She died about 1347.
Daughter and heir of Thomas, son of Sir Ralph Mountjoy whence the title Mountjoy was afterwards assumed by a number of this family.
